Accessibility statement
Effective date: [effective date]
Our commitment
Allied Medical Management LLC ("Allied," "we," "us," or "our") wants everyone to be able to use our website at https://alliedmedical.supplies (the "site"), including people with disabilities. This statement describes the standard we work toward, the steps we have taken, the limitations we know about, and how to get help.
If a disability makes any part of the site hard for you to use, contact us. We will work with you to provide the information or help you need in another way.
This statement applies to the site only. It does not cover the products we sell, their design, or their labeling.
Standard we work toward
We designed and built the site with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as our target. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) publishes WCAG. The guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Accessibility is ongoing work. We do not claim that every page or feature of the site fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement is not a certification.
Measures we have taken
The site is designed to include the following:
- Semantic HTML. Headings, lists, links, buttons, and form fields use standard HTML elements so that screen readers and other assistive technologies can identify how each page is organized.
- Keyboard navigation. Links, buttons, and form fields are designed to work with a keyboard alone, without a mouse.
- Visible focus. When you move through the site with a keyboard, a visible indicator is designed to show which element has focus.
- Color contrast. Text and interface colors are chosen to meet the WCAG 2.2 Level AA contrast minimums.
- Reduced motion. If your device or browser is set to reduce motion, the site is designed to follow that setting.
- Form labels. Fields on the quote request form have text labels that assistive technologies can read.
The site does not include third-party embedded content, such as videos, maps, or chat widgets.
Technologies the site relies on
The site works with your browser and any assistive technology you use through HTML and CSS. The quote list also relies on JavaScript and your browser's local storage. If your browser blocks JavaScript or local storage, the quote list may not work. You can email us your request instead, as described below.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site may not be fully accessible. We know of the following limitation:
- Security checks. Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may sometimes show a security check before a page loads. Cloudflare designs and runs that check. If a security check keeps you from using the site, contact us by email or phone and we will help you another way.
When we find an accessibility problem, or someone reports one, we work to fix it.
Getting help or information in another format
If you have trouble using any part of the site, or you need information from the site in another format, contact us:
- Email: sales@alliedmedical.supplies
- Phone: [phone]. If you use a relay service, you can call this number through it, for example by dialing 711.
- Mail: Allied Medical Management LLC, 38 Corbin Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11235, USA
Tell us what you need and how you would like us to contact you. For example, we can email you the text of a product page, or go through it with you by phone.
Requesting a quote without the form
You do not have to use the quote list or the quote request form to request a quote. You can email us your company name, your name, your business email, your business type, and the products and quantities you want. We will treat your email as a quote request.
The same requirements apply to every quote request. We sell only to licensed businesses with a trade account, and a resale certificate is required. Our Terms of sale explain the terms that apply to orders.
Do not send patient information or protected health information (PHI) to us by any method, including email, phone, or mail.
Our Privacy policy explains how we handle the information you send us.
Reporting an accessibility barrier
If any part of the site is hard or impossible to use because of a disability, please tell us. Reports help us find and fix problems.
To report a barrier, email sales@alliedmedical.supplies or call [phone]. It helps if you include:
- the web address (URL) of the page;
- a short description of the problem and what you were trying to do;
- the browser and device you used, and any assistive technology, such as a screen reader or screen magnifier; and
- how you would like us to contact you.
You can still make a report without all of this information.
We aim to respond to accessibility reports within [response time, e.g. 5 business days]. Our response will confirm that we received your report and tell you what we plan to do. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you and, where we can, provide the information or help you need another way in the meantime.
Review and updates
We last reviewed this statement on [effective date]. We update this statement when we make significant changes to the site or learn of a new limitation. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
